‘Endometriosis 2020: Current Status – 1’

On June 7, 2020, ‘Endometriosis 2020: Current Status – 1’, the first webinar of our association was held with the participation of expert specialists of the association.

The webinar, which was moderated by Professor Dr. Engin Oral, was shown great interest from our colleagues. Our international faculty was Dr. Ceana Nezhat, and Dr. Michael Hibner from the USA, Dr. Caterina Exacoustos from Italy, provided valuable information about ultrasound examination, surgery, and post-surgical pain management in endometriosis cases. From our association, our president, Assoc. Dr. Taner Usta and our general secretary Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kale made their presentations that elaborated endometriosis surgery step by step. We want to thank everyone and viewers who contributed to this first webinar, which was a scientific feast with questions and contributions from participants from all over the country and the world.

Assoc Prof Taner Usta, M.D.

He was born in Antakya in 1974. He completed his secondary education in Private Icel College, Liseyi in T.S.G.L. In 2000, she graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. She completed her Gynecology and Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialization training at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of the Republic of Turkey. In 2005, he started working as a chief of staff. İ.Ü. Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty completed the certification program for assisted treatment methods at ART Unit. In 2009, Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital established Office Hysteroscopy Unit and Infertility Polyclinic. In 2010, he started to work as Başşistan in Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital. He established the Infertility Polyclinic in the Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital, the Office Hysteroscopy Unit and then the Recurrent Low Polyclinic in 2010. After the post-specialist Advanced Endoscopic techniques were participated in trainings in Spain (Instituto Mediterraneo de Endoscopia, Castellon), United States (Mayo Clinic, Arizona) and France (IRCAD, Strassburg). He has been working as Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic Administrative Responsible since December 2012.
