On Sunday the 24th of March we did yoga with yoga instructor Betul Acar Duyar at Izmir Culture Park. She gave instruction on how to ease menstruation related pain. One of our members Cagdas Sahin, MD. answered questions at brunch following the yoga lesson.

We hereby proudly announce that our founding president and the active president of European Endometriosis League Prof. Engin Oral, MD has been elected as an Ambassador of World Endometriosis Society.
On 2019, Saturday the 23rd of March a group of volunteers and patients lead by one of our members Eda Ureyen, MD. hiked for Endometriosis Awareness around Eymir Lake in Ankara.
On 11th of March, Monday evening, our EndoKitchen Workshop took place at MSA Maslak. Pınar Bahat, MD., gave a presentation on the importance of nutrition for endometriosis patients. She informed the participants on food with antiinflammatory and pain relieving effects. She also warned against nutrients which elevate the symptoms of endometriosis. You can find the relevant information on endometriosis diet on our website www.endometriozis.org. With the help of MSA team we prepared an endometriosis friendly menu consisting of broccoli with ginger soup, mediterranean salad, oven-cooked seabass with mint gremolata and cauliflower puree and chai pudding. We had a great evening where we enjoyed the company of the participants and the food that we cooked. We thank MSA team for their professional help and support.⠀
Endometriosis Awareness Meeting was organized at Zekai Tahir Burak Teaching and Research Hospital in Ankara. During this meeting physicians held seminars on Endometriosis and patients shared their experiences.
On Tuesday the 12th of March one of the members of our society Eda Ureyen Ozdemir, MD. has given a seminer on endometriosis and reproductive health at Mev College Ankara as a part of our ongoing Endo at School project. We thank the school administration and the students for their interest and support.
On Sunday 11th of March with yoga instructor Banu Cadirdi we did yoga and meditation at Cihangir Sports Club. Banu Cadirci showed us how to relax painful parts of our body. She taught us how to combine our movements with our breathing and show us some basic yoga positions which we can easily do at home by ourselves. You can read about these techniques in our upcoming book called Living with Endometriosis which will be published soon. We would like to thank the participants for their interest and Banu Cadirci for this insightful yoga lesson.
On April 5-7, at Bezmialem University 4th National Medical Students Congress our member Assoc. Prof. Hale Goksever Celik gave a talk on Endometriosis.
On 10th of February we organized the 9th Endoacademy meeting where we discussed endometriosis and adenomyosis thoroughly. 163 number pf physicans and healthcare professionals participated in the meeting and we broadcastes live on Facebook. We thank all the speakers for their presentations and surgery videos and all the participants for their interest.

Our association; was established to inform patients, relatives, the society, physicians about Endometriosis and the diseases caused by it. We are working for a future where the effects of Endometriosis, which is one of every 10 women of reproductive age, have less effects.
