We organised the ESGE Regional Workshop entitled ‘Step by Step Management of Women with Endometriosis: From Diagnosis to Therapy – A Practical Approach’ organised on 10-11 March 2023 in Sofitel Taksim Hotel / Istanbul / Türkiye by the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy and Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Society of Türkiye. On the first day, the role of MRI and ultrasound in the diagnosis of endometriosis was explained by world renowned professors in these fields, and then the information was supported by live ultrasound demonstration, practical MRI reading, and real case discussions. On the second day, endometriosis-related infertility and pain management were discussed in detail, and endometriosis cases were discussed in a panel interactively attended by the trainees by world-renowned professors. We were a great pleasure to complete our course with intense participation, where the excitement and inspiration of the information are read on the faces of the colleagues.

We held the 16th EndoAcademy in Malatya.

Thank you for your interest in our 16th EndoAcademymeeting held in Malatya, Inonu University Turgut Ozal Congress and Culture Center on Sunday, December 4th. Themeeting consisted of three sessions, titled “Endometriosis at All Ages, Endometrioma and Important Clinical Conditions, Case Reports and Endometrioma”.

This event has occured under the chairmanship of Prof. Recai Pabuccu MD and Assoc. Prof. Engin Yıldırım, MD. The scientific secretariat was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Hulya Aladag, MD and Assoc. Prof. Ebru Inci Coskun. We concluded our meeting with the contributions of our distinguished professors.

We had many colleagues coming from different regions of Turkey tolisten on-site. Our meeting was also broadcast online and a large number of participants were attended.

After the first two sessions, we held a workshop titled”Evaluation of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Cases withUltrasonography” by Prof.Taner Usta, MD, while cases fromdifferent age groups were evaluated, the participants wereaccompanied interactively with their questions andcontributions.

Indispensable for EndoAcademy’s, our “case discussions” aremoderated by Prof. Engin Oral, MD. Our panelists are Prof. Umit Inceboz, MD, Prof. Remzi Atılgan, MD, Assoc. Prof.Engin Yıldırım, MD, Assoc. Prof. Melike Aslan, MD andAssoc. Prof. Selcuk Kaplan, MD.

We completed the “16th EndoAcademy-Malatya” with academic honor and the happiness of being with our colleagues.

On October 9, 2022, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, the Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics Istanbul (TJOD Istanbul) convened a Sunday meeting on the topic of “Current Approach to Oocyte Freezing for Medical and Social Reasons.” “Medical Fertility Preservation” was brought up in the second session, and  the founding president of the society Prof. Engin Oral MD presented the “Evaluation of Patients Planned for Gonadal Surgery” in this session. Prof. Engin Oral MD has participated in the panel discussion on “Case Presentations” that was held following the sessions. Our executive board member Associate Prof.  Hale Göksever Çelik, MD who was also the organizing committee manager, chaired the first session on “Social Fertility Preservation” and also the second session on “Medical Fertility Preservation”. You can watch the meeting from the link below.

4th Obstetrics and Gynecology Controversial Subjects Congress was held between 22-25 September at Dalaman Hilton Sarıgerme Hotel. In the 4-day congress, our founding president and board member Prof. Engin Oral, MD gave a speech on the Future in the Diagnosis of Endometriosis: Early Diagnosis with the Use of Serum Biomarkers. The chair of the session was made by Prof. Faruk Kose, MD.

 Thank you for your interest in our 15th EndoAcademy meeting. This time we had three sessions titled “Endometriosis, Endometrioma and Important Clinical Conditions at All Ages, Endometrioma Cases”, which we held at Trakya University State Conservatory Art Education and Performance Hall on Sunday, September, 18.

 Our event is chaired by Prof. Ahmet Kale, MD and Prof. Koray Elter, MD.  The scientific secretariat was conducted by Lect. Dr. Sinan Ates.  In addition to Trakya University, valuable professors from Tekirdag Namik Kemal University, Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University and Balıkesir University had contributed. The meeting was held hybrid, participants could join online as well.

 The chairmen of the sessions were Prof. Bulent Demir, MD from Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University; Prof.  Cetin Cam, MD and Assoc. Prof  Baki Senturk from Tekirdag Namik Kemal University; Assoc. Prof. Nihal Dolgun Altintas, MD from Edirne, and lastly our society’s president Prof. Umit Inceboz, MD and our member Humeyra Ozkaya, MD.

 Speakers and topics covered in the meeting were as follows; “Imaging in the Diagnosis of Endometriosis” by Prof. Taner Usta, MD; “How Should We Manage Endometrioma in Adolescents?” by Prof. Koray Elter, MD; “How Should We Manage Endometrioma in the Reproductive Period?” by Prof. Umit Inceboz, MD; “How Should We Manage Endometrioma during Peri and Postmenopausal Periods?”  by Prof. Servet Hacıvelioglu, MD; “Coexistence of Endometrioma and Adenomyosis” by Assoc. Prof. Cihan Kaya, MD; “Endometrioma and Deep Infiltrative Endometriosis” by Prof. Ahmet Kale, MD; “Endometrioma and Infertility” by Prof. Engin Oral, MD and last but not least, Assoc. Prof.  Yusuf Aytac Tohma, MD talked about “Endometrioma and Pain”.

 After the first two sessions, Prof. Engin Oral, MD, Prof. Taner Usta, MD and Prof.  Ahmet Kale, MD chaired the workshop session titled “Evaluation of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Cases with Ultrasonography”, which included cases from different age groups. Cases were discussed by the instructors and participants, actively participating with their questions and contributions.

 Prof. Taner Usta, MD moderated our infamous “case discussions” session. Panelists were Prof. Umit Inceboz, MD, Prof. Ertan Adali, MD, Prof. Servet Helvacioglu, MD, Prof. Bulent Demir, MD, Prof. Cetin Cam, MD, Assoc. Prof. Emel Kıyak Caglayan, MD and Lect. Dr.  Sinan Ates.

Our society’s chairman of the board Prof. Taner Usta, MD made a presentation on “Thoracic Endometriosis” at the African Endometriosis Awareness and Support Group Congress on Saturday, June 25th.
In this meeting attended by speakers from many different countries, discussions were held on approaches about Endometriosis and Adenomyosis.
